The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal runs on the Maryland side of the river, and the National Park Service maintains a park that runs the entire 184.5 mile length of the canal.

My sister got Zoey about 2-1/2 years ago from a breeder in Missouri, because she wanted a small dog that would not shed and would be relatively hypoallergenic (her husband has allergies).

Located in the Fort Worth, TX Cultural District, this is an engaging museum that mostly focuses on getting kids to interact with science.

Fair was King Street Bluegrass Band, an Alexandria, VA based quartet that plays Bluegrass as well as Country and Classic Rock.

The band takes its name from King Street in Old Town Alexandria, where they first started playing together.

Howard County is an interesting juxtaposition of a suburban eastern third (Columbia/Ellicott City was just named #2 on Money's list of Best Places to Live for small cities) with a largely rural western section, where zoning has preserved agricultural land (and, to be honest, McMansions).

It seems to be a twist on The Hitchhiker but what makes it cool is the way they slap the floor in front and behind. It's particularly impressive when it's being done by 40-50 dancers.

I'm not sure where the video was taken, but the dancers are all competition caliber. Their moves are smooth but also executed crisply, and some of them add jumps and flourishes.
